Dimensions to fabricate the four blocks, and the two 5M8291 Lugs if desired.
Dimensions to install the four blocks and two lugs for modification of the draft frame assembly.Adaptable To: The new parts, used together, are adaptable to all earlier machines if a modification is made to the scraper draft frame. To make the modification, four blocks and two lugs must be welded to the draft frame assembly. The four blocks are not available for parts service, and must be fabricated. The two 5M8291 Lugs are available, or can be fabricated if desired. The illustrations show all the necessary dimensions to fabricate and install the parts for draft frame modification.
Location of new parts in draft frame lines group-top view.INSTALLATION: After draft frame modification is complete, with the four blocks and two lugs welded in place, install the new parts as follows: 1. Remove the former 8J7825 Hose Assembly from the right side of the draft frame.2. Remove the 8J7823 Hose Assembly from the left side, and install it on the right side in place of the former 8J7825 Hose Assembly.3. Install the new 3G3029 Hose Assembly on the left side, where the 8J7823 Hose Assembly was removed.4. Install one 1S994 Clip to hold each hose assembly, and install the two new plate assemblies. See the illustration for location of parts.
