.Description of Change: The new flash files enable the engine Electronic Control Modules (ECMs) to communicate low coolant level shutdowns to the Electronic Modular Control Panels (EMCPs).With the previous flash files, the ECM correctly shut the engine down for low coolant level, but the EMCP did not display the reason.Adaptable To: The new flash files are adaptable to the above engines back to first production.The new flash files can be downloaded from SIS web and from TMI in order to be installed on the engine ECMs.Note: Always download the most recent software for the engine.The new flash files are effective with the engine serial numbers listed in Table 1.The part numbers of the new flash files are listed in Table 2. To identify the flash file for your engine, refer to SIS web or to TMI.
