524-1324 Implement Software Gp and 531-4527 Implement Software Gp for rack back snubbing may malfunction on the machines listed above. The rack back snubbing performance is not good in the machine when the rack back snubbing is enabled in Caterpillar ET.Solution

Overwrite the maximum current for rack back snubbing in Caterpillar ET to 1.27 amps to 1.28 amps for a good snubbing performance.Follow the procedure below to configure the new current value in Caterpillar ET:
Connect the ET, click the configuration.
On the new screen, double-click "Rackback Solenoid #1 Maximum Current" as shown in Illustration 1.
Type the new maximum current value in the "New Value" tab shown in Illustration 1 and reconnect the ET.
