Information:

1. Thoroughly clean the recess in the drain plug before removing. Remove the transmission oil drain plug and allow oil to drain.2. Clean and install the drain plug. The oil screen must be removed and cleaned if the transmission is drained or disassembled for any reason. The transmission screen is located at the lower front of the transmission. 3. Remove bolts (1) and cover (2).4. Remove screen (3). Remove the magnets from the screen.5. Wash the screen and the magnets in clean, nonflammable solvent.6. Install the magnets into the screen and install screen and cover. 7. Remove the oil fill cap.8. Add the oil. See the topic Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities in the Maintenance Section of this manual.9. Clean and install the oil fill cap.10. Maintain the oil level between the ADD and FULL marks on the dipstick.Wash Breather
1. Remove the breather.2. Wash the breather in clean, nonflammable solvent.3. Install the breather.Differential and Final Drives
Change Oil and Wash Suction Screens
At operating temperature, the differential/final drive oil is hot and can be under pressure. See the Safety Section for information about hot oil and fluid penetration. 1. Clean and then remove drain plug (1) on both sides and allow the oil to drain into a suitable container. Inspect the drain plug seals. Replace the seals if damaged. Clean and install the drain plugs. The oil screen must be removed and cleaned if the differential or final drives are drained or disassembled for any reason. The differential screen is located at the lower front of the differential.2. Remove bolts (2) and cover (3). Remove the screen. Wash the screen in clean, nonflammable solvent. Install the screen and cover. 3. Remove the breather cap from the fill tube. 4. Add oil until the oil level is above the center of the oil level sight gauges on both final drive housings5. Inspect the cap and cap seal for damage, deposits or foreign material. Clean the cap with a clean cloth or replace the cap if it is damaged.6. Install the cap.Implement Hydraulic System
Change Oil and Filter
1. Slowly remove the implement oil tank fill cap to relieve system pressure. Remove the strainer. The implement tank is the one to the front of the machine.2. Wash the strainer and cap in clean, nonflammable solvent. 3. Attach a hose to the drain valve elbow. Loosen the plug and allow oil to drain.4. Tighten the plug and remove the hose. 5. Remove and discard the implement oil filter element. Make sure all of the old filter seal is removed from the filter base.6. Apply a thin coat of oil to the seal on the new filter.7. Install the filter by hand until the filter contacts the base. Tighten 3/4 turn more. There are rotation index marks on each new filter spaced 90 degrees apart, to be used as a guide for tightening.8. Install the fill strainer.9. Fill the implement oil tank.
