Disassembly Of Input Clutch
(1) Plate (1) is under spring pressure; use caution when removing bolts (2). Remove clutch tie bolts (3) and springs (4). Remove piston (5) and manifold (6) as a unit. Remove clutch discs (7) and the plates. (2) Remove clutch hub (8) and pressure plate (9).Assembly Of Input Clutch
(1) Install new 8P5163 Pressure Plate (1) and clutch hub (2). Install two clutch discs (3) and one plate. Make sure all oil return notches are in alignment. (2) Install clutch bolts (4). Install piston (5) and manifold (6) over clutch bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 36 2 lb. ft. (49 3 N m). Install piston return springs (7). Install clutch spring retainer plate (8), bolts and locks. Install the input clutch assembly. (See the Service Manual.
