Removal Procedure
Turn the battery disconnect switch into the OFF position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery Disconnect Switch".

Open the left access door (1) .

Remove nut (2) and cover (3) .

Remove nut (6) and battery hold down (5). Disconnect all negative battery cable assemblies (7). Then, disconnect all positive battery cable assemblies (4). Use two people in order to remove batteries (8). The weight of each battery (8) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).Installation Procedure

Use two people in order to install batteries (8). The weight of each battery (8) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb). Connect all positive battery cable assemblies (4). Then, connect all negative battery cable assemblies (7). Install battery hold down (5) and nut (6).

Install cover (3) and nut (2) .

Close the left access door (1) .
Turn the battery disconnect switch into the ON position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery Disconnect Switch".
