Pay attention to your surroundings. Keep a safe distance from any machines in front of your machine.Do not drive over unprotected power cables. Do not drive under low hanging overhead power cables.Know the maximum height of the machine. Know the maximum width of the machine. Maintain proper clearances.Always travel with the hoist control in the FLOAT position. Shift to the top speed that is anticipated. All further shifts will be automatic.During normal braking operation (AC drive truck only), use the retarder lever for speeds greater than 10 km/h (6 mph) and use the service brake for speeds less than 10 km/h (6 mph).Roads can be slick from ice or from snow. Also, roads can be slick from being wet. Reduce the speed of the machine in order to compensate for poor ground conditions.Traveling Down a Grade
