Illustration 3 g01144223The Electronic Control Module (ECM) is mounted on the side of the transmission.The OEM transmission control will be required to support 12V and 24V systems. The transmission hardware is dependent on the system voltage and therefore the start relay and transmission solenoids must be changed accordingly.The ECM will evaluate information that is input to the ECM and information in memory. The ECM then sends a corresponding response through the outputs. The inputs and outputs of the implement ECM are connected to the machine harness. Use contact connectors "J1" and "J2".The machine has several input devices. Input devices inform the ECM of the operating conditions of the machine. The machine has inputs from switches and sensors. Switches provide an open, a ground or a +battery to the inputs of the implement ECM. Sensors provide a constantly changing signal to the ECM. The Power Train ECM uses this information in order to activate the solenoids.
