(12) Terminators TSS files export a special file called a "points file". A TSS file must follow the exact structure that is shown in Illustration 1.There should be one space between the "Easting", "Northing", and "Elevation" values. All numeric fields must have two decimal places. The first "Easting", "Northing", and "Elevation" values do not need repeating to close the polygon. If the "Easting" and "Northing" values are not in order going around a polygon, the conversion will not work. Each polygon must be terminated by a blank line that contains one space. The polygon ID, the bench ID, and the material type will be displayed for the polygon. TSS files must be named xxxxx_pts with no extensions. Where xxxxx is the file name.Setting Up Color Mappings
TSS files require some setup steps before the file can be converted. Color mappings are set up using the "Terrain (Grading and Loading)" menu on the "Manage Site Settings" dialog, accessed from the "Control Center".A valid TSScolorfile.txt file must be placed in a drive that contains the .../file_repository/machine/site file. This file matches the material type from mine site software to a .dxf color that is configured when the site settings are configured.

Typical TSS color file
(6) Material type
(7) .dxf color The material type can be an alphanumeric value that is five characters or less. TSS files have the capability of having text displayed from the file conversion. The office software creates a .dxf file to allow creation of the text information.Converting TSS Files
A user can view the contents of a TSS file by opening the text file in "File Manager". Perform the following procedure:
Open the TSScolorfile.txt file and save the file as TSScolorfile_date.txt in the drive that contains the /.../file_repository/machine/site file.

Edit the TSScolorfile_date.txt file. Each number from 1 to 250 must be used only once. The last three lines are used to determine the format of the .cat files used on loaders.
Verify that all material types in the TSS design file are matched up with a color in the "TSScolorfile.txt" file. If a material type from the design is not in "TSScolorfile.txt", ask your mine site representative to determine the color for the material type. When configuring your color settings, enter in the correct color for the material type but do not enter in a description. The .dxf color number must match the number in the TSScolorfile.txt file.Note: See the Terrain (Grading and Loading) section for more information.
In the "Control Center", click "Manage DXF Transfer Templates".
From the list on the left, select the "DXF" template.
In the "Usage" drop-down list, select "Material Grade".
If not already selected, select the "Design" check box for all layers.
Click "OK".
In the "Control Center", click "Manage and Transfer Files", or click the "File Manager" menu if you have "File Manager" open.
Navigate to, and expand, the TSS folder.
Right-click on the design file to be converted.
Click "Convert" on the menu. The "Conversion" window will display. Note: You can also click the
