Contact with high pressure fuel may cause personal injury or death. Wait 60 seconds after the engine has stopped to allow fuel pressure to purge before any service or repair is performed on the engine fuel lines.
Contact with high pressure fuel may cause fluid penetration and burn hazards. High pressure fuel spray may cause a fire hazard. Failure to follow these inspection, maintenance and service instructions may cause personal injury or death.
Turn the fuel supply to the OFF position.
Disconnect the battery. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery or Battery Cable - Disconnect".

Disconnect tube assembly (2) and the fitting. Note: Relief valve (1) is a two-piece valve which should not be disassembled.Note: Do not use Tooling (A) at Location (X).
Use Tooling (A) to remove relief valve (1) and remove the O-ring seal. Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Install relief valve (1) in reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of relief valve (1).
Use Tooling (A) in order to tighten relief valve (1) to a torque of 60 5 N m (44 4 lb ft).
Loosen relief valve (1) to a torque of 5 3 N m (44 27 lb in).
Tighten relief valve (1) to a torque of 20 2 N m (177 18 lb in). Tighten relief valve (14) an additional 18° (+4°/-1°) turn.
Tighten relief valve (1) to a torque of 95 + 25/-20 N m (70 +18/-15 lb ft).
