All Caterpillar Engines So EquippedNew relay kits are available to replace the existing relays in engine mounted junction boxes. The relays in the new kits provide improved reliability. One kit is required for each relay to be replaced. The new 6I1864 Relay Kit (12 Volts DC) replaces the 9G1928 Relay. The new 6I1868 Relay Kit (24 Volts DC) replaces the 6T4007 Relay. The new 6I1908 Relay Kit (32 Volts DC) replaces the 6T4006 Relay. Each new relay kit includes a new relay, relay base, wires, and connectors. Each new relay kit also includes Special Instruction, SEHS9423. This special instruction provides complete installation information.
