(SA) TractorsDescription of Change: Several design changes have been made to improve the modulation and control of steering clutches and brakes on D5B Special Application Tractors. These changes will improve the performance of the tractor in agricultural applications. Some of the primary changes are removal of the brake control from the steering levers for separate operation, and the use of single-wrap (goes around the brake drum one turn) instead of double-wrap (goes around the brake drum two turns) brake bands. With the single-wrap brake bands, the brake booster is changed to increase the braking force.Adaptable To: Because of the large number of parts changed, a list of the new parts is not shown here. If desired, a conversion can be made to all earlier D5B Special Application Tractors.
