PROBLEM
The 398-2101 Duct assembly needs to be reworked on certain 795F AC Off-Highway Trucks. The internal baffle in the existing Duct As can break loose and cause extensive damage to the electric drive cooling fan, as well as any other component down stream of the fan. Failures have been reported as early as 600 hours of operation with an average failure reporting time of about 6000 hours.
