Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.
Release the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release" for the machine that is being serviced.

Remove ten bolts (1) .
Remove panel (2) .

Install Tooling (A) to swingout ladder (3), as shown.
Attach a suitable hoist and lifting chains to Tooling (A) .

Remove pin (6) .

Remove cotter pin (7) and the pin.

Remove four bolts (4) and the washers.
Remove center bolt (5) and the washer.
Use the hoist in order to remove swingout ladder (3). The weight of swingout ladder (3) is 400 kg (880 lb).
