Place the machine in the servicing position. Refer to Illustration 1.

Move the hydraulic lockout control to the LOCKED position.

Slowly loosen the filler plug in order to relieve any pressure.
Tighten the filler plug after the pressure is relieved.

(1) Bolts (2) Cover (3) Engine air precleaner
Remove engine air precleaner (3) .
Remove ten bolts (1) and cover (2) from the machine.

Remove four bolts (4) and cover (5) from the fine filtration filter.Note: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "General Hazard Information" for information on containing fluid spillage.

(6) filter element
Remove filter element (6) from the filter assembly.
Install a new filter element.
Place cover (5) in place and secure four bolts (4) .
Place cover (2) in place and secure ten bolts (1) .
