Component Code:5466SUBJECT: Parts for 143-3904 Joystick Handles
PROBLEM:
The information that was published in TIBU3114-00 on July 5, 2000 is in correct. Please use the following information.
Reports have been received that 143-3904 Joystick Handle Assemblies have been received without the means to mount them onto the Joystick Pilot Valve. Telehandlers Engineering and Parts Department are currently investigating this.
SOLUTION: These aditional parts are required to complete the conversion. 158-3770 Lever Kit (1) and 162-6594 Nut (2).
Insert the hex portion of the threaded stud into the joystick handle. Ensure that the holes for the roll pin in the handle align with the holes in the hex portion of the threaded stud. Support the handle on a sturdy surface and tap the roll pin until the roll pin is flush.
Note: This is only a problem if the 143-3904 Joystick Handle Assembly is being used to convert from an old 118-0108 Joystick Handle. If the 143-3904 Joystick Handle Assembly is replacing the same, the roll pin can be driven out and the existing 158-3770 Lever Kit can be used.
