Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Install a new O-ring seal on the ring (4). Install the cover (1) with the indication to the outside. The indication is at the top dead center position on the number one cylinder. Be sure that the cover is engaged with the dowels before you install the bolts. The dowels must project from the surface of the ring (4) and the hub (3). These dowels must project for a distance of 5 mm (0.197 inch) to 7 mm (0.276 inch).
Install a new O-ring seal (2) in the hub (3). Be sure that the fill ports in the hub (3) are set against the table.

Install the cover (1) and the ring on the hub (3). Be sure that the cover is engaged with the dowels before you install the bolts.
Turn over the following components: the cover, the hub and the ring.

Install the bearings (5) around the hub.

Fasten Tool (A) and a hoist to weight (6).
Carefully lower the weight (6) onto the bearings (5).

Install the bearings (7).
Install the new O-ring seal (8).
Install the new O-ring seal (9).

Install the cover (10) with the indication to the outside. This indication is at the top dead position for the number one cylinder. Be sure that the cover is engaged with the dowels before you install the bolts.

Connect the outlet tube of the cylinder (11) to a fill port. Be sure that both of the plugs are removed.
Wear protective gloves in order to avoid skin irritation.
The narrow vibration damper with a diameter of 762 mm (30 inch) uses 1.4 L (1.5 qt) of 4C-6508 Damping Fluid. The wide vibration damper with a diameter 762 mm (30 inch) uses 2.4 L (2.5 qt) of 4C-6508 Damping Fluid. Put the correct volume of fluid in the cylinder (11).
Close the cylinder. Connect the pressure air line to a dry pressure air source of 240 kPa (35 psi). Allow the silicone to be displaced from the cylinder into the vibration damper for eight hours.
Disconnect the cylinder (11) from the vibration damper.

Install the plugs (12) with new O-ring seals.End By:
