Information:
At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the filler cap on the hydraulic oil tank only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Be sure all the hydraulic pressure is released before any fittings, hoses or components are loosened, tightened, removed or adjusted.
d. Carefully loosen the filler cap on the hydraulic oil tank to release the pressure.e. Carefully loosen the plugs at the rear of the tilt cylinder. When the oil from the loosened plugs stops draining, tighten the two plugs. To release the pressure in the attachment cylinders, carefully loosen the two large plugs near the plugs at the top of the loader frame. When the oil from the loosened plugs stops draining, tighten the two large plugs.f. Tighten the filler cap on the hydraulic oil tank.g. The pressure in the hydraulic system has now been released. 4. Remove the bolts and washers that hold cab panel (1) in position. Remove the cab panel from the lower front of the cab. 5. Put identification marks on all hose assemblies connected to the hand metering pump for installation purposes.6. Disconnect all hose assemblies (3) from the hand metering unit.7. Remove the nuts that hold the mounting brackets for the hand metering unit.8. Loosen the four bolts that hold hand metering unit (2) to the mounting brackets. Remove the hand metering pump from the machine. The following steps are for the installation of the hand metering unit.9. Put hand metering unit (2) in position under the floor of the cab. Install the nuts that hold the mounting brackets for the hand metering unit to the cab floor.12. Connect hose assemblies (3) to the hand metering unit in their original locations.13. Install cab panel (1) at the lower front of the cab. Tighten the bolts that hold the panel to a torque of 20 5 N m (15 4 lb ft).14. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.15. Separate the steering frame lock link. See the topic "Separate & Connect Steering Frame Lock Link" in this module.16.
