- - - Clearance between the engine speed sensor and the flywheel ring gear is 0.56 to 0.84 mm (0.022 to 0.033 inch).
- - - Before installation, coat the threads of the sensor assembly with Loctite C5A copper anti-seize.
- - - Use the following procedure in order to install the speed sensor group:
1. Install the speed sensor group into the 5/8 threaded hole and turn until the magnetic core contact with a tooth of the flywheel ring gear.
2. Back out the speed sensor group for 180 degrees.
3. Tighten the jam nut (1) to 25 5 N m (221 44 lb in).
- - - Operating voltage is 8 to 13 VDC.
