Remove plug (1) from hood (2) .

Open hood (2). Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device in order to support hood (2). The weight of hood (2) is approximately 181 kg (400 lb).

Remove cotter pin (3) and pin (4) from hood tilt actuator (5) in order to disconnect hood tilt actuator (5) from hood (2) .

Remove bolts (6) in order to remove cover (7) .

Disconnect harness assemblies (9). Remove cotter pin (8) and pin (10). Remove hood tilt actuator (5) .
