Lowering the Ripper
Note: The following procedure for Mechanical Input to lower the ripper is for machines with the following serial numbers only.MDB1-Up, ; SCG1-Up, ; TAN1-477, and ; TJA1-452
Relieve the pressure in hydraulic tank (D) by slowly removing the hydraulic tank cap.

Remove outlet fitting (1) from ripper lift control valve (2), as shown.

Open the left side enclosures. Remove 245-1737 Hex Bolt (4) on the rear of the case drain manifold on the left fender underneath the left side enclosure.
Install the 245-1737 Hex Bolt into the outlet fitting port. Slowly turn the threaded bolt in the clockwise direction to move the ripper downward. Note: Make sure that the valve is
