Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Lubricate all O-ring seals with 1U-6396 O-Ring Assembly Compound .

Put the gasket and engine oil cooler (8) in position on the cylinder block. Install fourteen bolts (7) that fasten engine oil cooler (8) to the cylinder block.
Install engine oil cooler bypass valve (6) in engine oil cooler (8) .

Position housing (5) on the engine oil cooler. Install six bolts (4) that fasten housing (5) to the engine oil cooler.
Install the oil lines and tighten fittings (1), (2), and (3) .End By: Install the heat exchanger. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Heat Exchanger - Install".
