Use the dimensions in Illustration 3 in order to fabricate template (B) out of cardboard.

Place template (B) over emboss and center the template.
Once template (B) is in the correct position, fold the sides of template (B) downward and tape the template in place. Taping the template in place allows marking the required area for the cutout needed to access the fuse block.

Use a rotary tool and cut along the marking in order to make the suggested cutout.

Use the dimensions shown in Illustration 6 in order to remove a section of insulation (X) .

Use the dimensions shown in Illustration 7 and drill two 8 mm (0.31 inch) diameter holes.

Remove and retain the four screws securing the fuse block.
Lift the fuse block off the current plate and set aside. Do not disconnect the harness.

Mount new plate assembly (1) as shown in Illustration 9 and secure using two screws (4) .

Attach the fuse block to plate assembly (1) by placing the fuse block up through plate assembly (1) refer to Illustration 10. Secure fuse block into position using the four screws retained in Step 10.

Reinstall trim (A) using the hardware retained in Step 2.Note: Reinstall all the hardware except for the one indicated by the arrow in Illustration 11.

Install rubber insert (2) into trim (A) and secure with screw (3) and hard washer from the screw not used in Step 14.
