Remove four truss head screws (3). Lift cover (4) away from the console.

Disconnect hose assembly (5) from the parking brake air control valve.

Disconnect lamp (6) from the cover.

Disconnect hose assembly (7) from the parking brake air control valve.

Remove film (8) from the cover.

Remove two screws (9) in order to remove parking brake air control valve (10) from the cover. Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the installation procedure, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble.

Use two screws (9) in order to install parking brake air control valve (10) to the cover.

Install film (8) to the cover.

Connect hose assembly (7) to the parking brake air control valve.

Connect lamp (6) to the cover.

Connect hose assembly (5) to the parking brake air control valve.

Use four truss head screws (3) in order to install cover (4) to the console.

Position knob (2) onto the shift lever, as shown.
Tighten set screw (1) in order to install knob (2).
Charge the pressure in the air tanks. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Starting with an External Air Supply" for the correct procedure. End By:
Remove the front wheel chocks and the rear wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chocks (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
