Note: The parking brake will always be engaged when the machine is started, regardless of the switch position. If the switch is in the DISENGAGE position at start-up, the switch must be cycled to release the parking brake.If the parking brake cannot be released but the machine must be moved immediately, the following override can be used to put the transmission into gear and drive through the parking brake.
Put the transmission into manual transmission shifting mode.
Place the transmission into first gear.
Quickly cycle FNF or RNR.This override should only be used for temporarily moving the machine and not during normal operation. Once you override the machine, move the machine to a secure location and consult your Cat dealer.Note: Always engage the parking brake when you shut down the machine.Note: Do not engage the parking brake while the machine is in motion during normal operation. If the parking brake is applied when machine is in motion, the transmission will downshift to second gear in order to help slow the machine.Quick Coupler (If Equipped) (69)
Improper engagement of work tools could result in injury or death.Do not operate this machine until you have positive indication that the coupler pins are fully engaged.
Engage - Press the bottom of the switch in order to engage the coupler pins. The switch will remain in the engaged position.
Disengage - Press the red tab on the bottom of the switch in order to release the switch. The top of the switch can then be pressed in order to disengage the coupler pins.Note: Operating instructions for specific attachments are not provided. Push the top of the switch to turn on the Hazard Lights. Push the bottom of the switch to turn off the Hazard Lights.Heated Mirror (If Equipped) (71)

If the machine is equipped with a radio that is compatible with an auxiliary device, the Auxiliary Audio Input can be used.To run a portable device, plug the cable into the headphone jack of the portable device.
