Remove the drain plug (1) in order to drain the main water tank.

Left side step
Open the drain cock (2) in order to drain the lines for the spray bar.Note: On the CB-225 machines, the pump for the water spray system is located on the right side of the machine. The pump can be accessed through the step on the right side of the machine. Use the drain cock that is located by the step on the left side of the machine in order to drain the emulsion tank.

Access the water filter through the step on the left side. Access the water filter through the step on the right side on the CB-225D machine.
Remove the strainer.
Allow the water in the water line to drain.
Clean the strainer.
Install the strainer.
