Before you install the hammer, you must have verification of the setup of the hydraulic system for the host machine, or perform the following steps :
Verify the flow rate of the hydraulic system of the host machine. In order to check the flow rate of the hydraulic system, use the 160-2513 Hydraulic Flow Tester or 4C-9675 Hydraulic Flow Tester . The flow rate must be set to the proper amount of flow for your hammer. If the flow is incorrect, adjust the flow to the proper amount of flow.
Verify the setting of the relief valve for the auxiliary system. If the pressure is not correct, adjust the relief valve to the proper pressure setting.
Verify the back pressure of the return flow of the hydraulic system.
Align the stick with the mounting bracket. Install the pin. Lock the pin into position. Note: The rating of the hydraulic lines and the rating of the hydraulic kit must be equal to or greater than the relief setting of the hydraulic system on the host machine. The lines that are used must be capable of delivering the proper hydraulic oil flow rate to the hammer. The lines that are used must be capable of delivering the proper hydraulic pressure to the hammer. The hydraulic kits that are used must be capable of delivering the proper hydraulic oil flow rate to the hammer. The hydraulic kits must be capable of delivering the proper hydraulic pressure to the hammer.
Connect the hoses.
Before you operate the hammer, refer to Service Manual, RENR4406, "Hydraulic Accumulator - Test and Charge.".Delivery Service Record
After the installation is complete, fill out a copy of Table 2 and keep a copy for your records.
