Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Raise the temperature of bearing (1) and install the bearing on gear (2).
Raise the temperature of bearing (6) and install the bearing on gear (2).
Use Tooling (C) with a suitable press to install assembled bearings (1) and (6), and gear (2) in adapter (7).
Use Tooling (A) to install retaining ring (5).
Secure adapter (7) to bearing (6) with bolts (3) and retainer (4). End By:
Install the pump drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pump Drive - Install ".
