1 2 5S-3676 O-Ring Seal Lubricate the bore lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
2 Thickness of four new friction discs and three new parking brake plates for the brake is 22.90 0.87 mm (0.902 0.034 inch).
Before assembly, dip the parts in the SAE 30 oil.
4 170-8714 Friction Disc Thickness of one new friction disc is 4.00 0.12 mm (0.157 0.005 inch).
3 3W-5159 Parking Brake Plate Thickness of one new parking brake plate is 2.30 0.13 mm (0.091 0.005 inch).
3 1 440-4292 Duo-Cone Seal Gp All the surfaces that are contacting the rubber toric seals must be clean and dry at assembly. Before assembly, apply a thin film of oil to the contacting surfaces of the metal seal rings. The seal rings must be assembled square with the bore and with the toric seal. The seal rings must not have bulges or twists.
Refer to Special Instruction, SEHS8364-03, "Assembly and Installation of Conventional Duo-Cone Seals" for installation instructions.
4 1 2H-6489 Bearing Outer Race Before installation, lubricate with SAE 30 oil.
5 1 5P-9147 O-Ring Seal Lubricate the bore lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
6 1 6V-5765 Sealant Apply sealant to the case only in continuous bead 3 mm (0.1 inch) from inside diameter.
Clean all sealing surfaces prior to applying the sealant.
