Removal Procedure
Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock.
Release the hydraulic system pressure.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Note: Put identification marks on the hose assemblies for installation purposes. Plug the hose assemblies. Plugging the hoses will help to prevent fluid loss and will help to keep contaminants from entering the system.Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. Cleaning will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.Note: The following illustrations have some parts removed for clarity.

Remove plate (1).

Disconnect hose assemblies (2) and hose assembly (3).

Disconnect tube assemblies (4).Note: Some clamps may have to be loosened before valve can be removed.

Disconnect two adapter assemblies (5).Disconnect hose assemblies (6) and hose assembly (7).

Disconnect hose assembly (8) and hose assembly (9).

Remove bolts (10).

Disconnect harness assembly (11).Remove bolts (12).Attach appropriate lifting device to main control valve and mounting group (13). Remove main control valve (13). The weight of main control valve and mounting group (13) is approximately 75 kg (165 lb).Installation Procedure
Install main control valve (13) in the reverse order of removal.
