Information:

1. Remove the V-Belt from the drive pulley on alternator (2). See the topic "Remove V-Belt" in this module.2. Put identification marks on all electrical wires and cables connected to alternator (2) for installation purposes. Disconnect the electrical wires and cables from alternator (2).3. Remove bolt (1) and washer. Remove two bolts (3), washers and nuts that hold the alternator to mounting bracket (4). Remove alternator (2). The following steps are for the installation of the alternator.4. Put alternator (2) in position on mounting bracket (4) as shown. Install two bolts (3), washers and nuts. Hand tighten only.5. Loosely install bolt (1) and the washer.6. Install the V-Belt on the alternator drive pulley.7. Adjust the tension of the drive belt. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct adjusting procedure. Tighten bolt (1).8. After adjusting the tension of the drive belt, tighten two bolts (3).
