PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Remove old position sensing lift cylinder on the left hand side of the machine and install the new cylinder in its place. Refer to M0066516 Bulldozer Lift Cylinder (VPAT) for specific instructions on cylinder replacement.
Ensure the electrical connection on the cylinder is tightened snugly. The electrical connection is shown at the arrow in Image 1.1.1 below.

2. Start the engine and run at high idle. Stroke the lift circuit from full raise to full lower five times to flush oil through the system. Then return the implments to ground line and turn off the engine.
3. For Group 1 machines, replace the hydraulic oil filter. For Group 2 machines equipped with a winch pump, you must also replace the hydraulic oil filter on the winch pump circuit.
For JTR, DFR, EL7, and MGM machines, refer to SEBU9352 Hydraulic System Oil Filter - Replace and Hydraulic System Oil Filter (Winch) - Replace - If equipped.
For 6S6 and MP7 machines, refer to M0070790 Hydraulic System Oil Filter - Replace.
