As advised in the Service Letter SEBE7653 datedJune 23, 2001, Service Letters will be communicated electronically to expeditethe release of new service information. Caterpillar will no longer providepaper copies of service letters effective October 2001. SIS Web, SIS Networkand SIS CD/DVD are the one "safe source" for current information. SIS Webwill be updated within 24 hours; and SIS Network and SIS CD/DVD with thenext monthly mailing.TEPS dealer Service Managers and Warranty Managerscan access an alert of all new Service Letters released within the last60 days in Power Net (https://truck.cat.com). This alert is located inthe "New Service Letters (last 60 days)" link under the "Service" category.A link to SIS Web is provided for convenient viewing along with some easyto use instructions for accessing the Service Letters.
