When servicing the primary and secondary engine air filters on the machines listed above, dust may fall down into the air cleaner assembly.Dirt may also fall onto the secondary air filter when servicing the primary air filter. When servicing the secondary air filter, debris on the radial seal of secondary air filter may spill onto the bottom of the air cleaner assembly. Dust and dirt entry through the air cleaner may cause damage to the engine.Solution
Use the following inspection method to ensure the air filters are serviced properly:

Remove the primary filter carefully to limit the debris movement built on the inside walls of the air cleaner housing. The debris may fall onto the secondary air filter.
Remove the secondary air filter carefully to prevent debris resting on the outer bulb seal fall onto the air cleaner housing.

After pulling the secondary air filter, clean up any debris inside the air cleaner housing that has dropped past where the filter was installed. This will prevent dust from entering into the engine.
