Remove twelve bolts (4) that hold the fan guard to the fan shroud.

Fasten a hoist and a suitable lifting sling to the fan motor support, as shown.
Remove four bolts (5) from the fan motor support.
Remove the frame, fan motor (2), the guard, and the fan as an assembly. Weight of the assembly is 91 kg (200 lb).

Remove four bolts (6). Remove cover (7) .

Support the radiator with Tooling (A) .

Remove four bolts (8) which secure the support assembly to the radiator. Loosen the four bolts (9). Move the radiator support in order to allow clearance to remove the fan shroud.
Remove fourteen bolts (10) and remove the fan shroud.Installation Procedure

Support the radiator with tooling (A) .
Install the fan shroud and fourteen bolts (10). Tighten bolts (10) to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).

Install bolts (8) and (9). Tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 100 20 N m (75 15 lb ft). Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 240 40 N m (180 30 lb ft).Note: These bolts were loosened in order to allow clearance to remove the fan shroud.
Remove the hoist and the suitable lifting sling.

Install cover (7) and four bolts (6) .

Use a hoist and a suitable lifting sling in order to support the fan assembly, as shown. Weight of the fan assembly is 91 kg (200 lb).
Install four bolts (5) for the fan motor support. Tighten bolts (5) finger tight in order to ensure alignment of the fan guard to the fan shroud.

Install the twelve bolts (4) that mount the fan guard to the fan shroud finger tight.
Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 100 20 N m (75 15 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).

Install bolts (3) that secure the hose clamps to the fan motor support.

To avoid system damage, make sure that the hydraulic motor is properly filled with hydraulic oil before start-up.
Connect three hose assemblies (1) at the fan motor (2) .End By:
Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.
