Information:
Pressurized system: Hot coolant can cause serious burn. To open cap, stop engine, wait until radiator is cool. Then loosen cap slowly to relieve the pressure.

Remove radiator cap (1) in order to relieve cooling system pressure.

Loosen radiator hose clamp (3) and remove the radiator hose (2) .
Loosen the two bolts (5) that attach the temperature regulator housing to the engine. Remove the temperature regulator housing (4) .
Clean the temperature regulator housing (4). Install a new temperature regulator and a new gasket.
Reinstall the bolts that attach the temperature regulator housing (5) and tighten the bolts.
Reinstall the radiator hose (2) and tighten the hose clamp (3) .
Clean the cooling system pressure cap (1). If necessary, replace the cooling system pressure cap.
Reinstall the cooling system pressure cap (1) .
Refill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Specifications"and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities".
