Overheating of the hydraulic system can be avoided in cold ambient conditions by using arctic oil. Cold ambient conditions are considered to be -32 °C (-25 °F) to -35 °C (-30 °F). The recommended lubricants for hydraulic systems in the temperature range of 40 °C (104 °F) to -40 °C (-40 °F) are Cat Arctic Synthetic Transmission/Drive Train Oil (TDTO SYN) 0W-20 and Cat Arctic Synthetic Diesel Engine Oil (DEO SYN) 0W-30. Use of arctic oil in the hydraulic system in cold ambient conditions is recommended for 992G (S/N: 7HR1-UP; ADZ1-UP; AZX1-UP) Wheel Loaders.Note: Cold ambient conditions may require additional care.
