Replace the existing 3882485/">388-2485 and/or 3882486/">388-2486 Tube Assembly, 7M-8485 O-Ring Seal and 5K-9090 O-Ring Seal by the same part numbers. Retain the split flanges, bolts, and washers, for reuse. Refer to the attached Rework Procedure.

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Turn off engine, connect the steering frame lock.
2. Raise the lift arm assembly and support the lift arm and work tool.
3. Release the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to SEBU9146, Operation and Maintenance Manual, for instructions on how to release hydraulic system pressure.
4. Remove the cover on the non-engine end frame in order to gain access to the implement valve and lines.
5. Clean debris from implement valve, tilt lines, and manifold.
6. Replace the failed tube assembly with a new 3882485/">388-2485 and/or 3882486/">388-2486 Tube Assembly. Replace the seal with a new 1P-3704 Rectangular Seal. Replace the existing 5K-9090 O-Ring Seal with a new 5K-9090 O-Ring Seal. Adjust both ends of tube assembly before tightening in order to ensure that the tube assembly is not under stress. Refer to Image1.1.1.

7. Check the hydraulic oil level. Refer to SEBU9146, Operation and Maintenance Manual, for additional information. Add hydraulic oil, if necessary.
8. Operate the machine and check for leaks.
