When performing quick shifts from forward to reverse when using 524-2035 Solenoid Valve Gp, you may experience delayed shift from forward to reverse during quick shift. This delayed shift is related to the current drive strategy used on these machines and the interaction to the new valve.Solution
If the delay is excessive or causing performance issues, have your dealer Technical Communicator (TC) create a Product Health Service Request (SR). Include the following: details of the issue, time measurements of the shift delay, has a transmission rebuild been performed and what prompted the part to be changed. Also, attach a Product Status Report (PSR) and reference this Publication in the description field of the SR prior to submitting to Caterpillar.
