21. Fasten a hoist to major bogie (28). 22. Put tooling (F) in position and fasten a hoist to tooling (F). Remove cartridge pins (26) with tooling (F). Remove major bogie (28). The weight is 189 kg (420 lb). Follow Steps 17 through 22 and remove the remainder of the cartridge pins and major bogies. 23. Remove pad assemblies (29) from the track roller frame and the major bogies.24. Remove the front track roller frame from the rear track roller frame. 1. Install the recoil spring. See the topic, Install Recoil Spring.2. Install the track adjuster. See the topic, Remove And Install Track Adjuster.3. Install the front track roller frame. See the topic, Install Front Track Roller Frame. 4. Install pad assemblies (29) on the major bogies and the track roller frame. 5. Fasten a hoist to major bogie (28) and put it in position in the track roller frame.6. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the bores of the major bogie and the track roller frame before installation of the cartridge pins. If the original cartridge pins are to be used again, they must be filled with 60 3 cc (2.03 .1 oz) of 5P7504 Oil. The rubber stoppers must be installed 3.0 1.0 mm (.118 .039 in) below the surface of the pin.
The end of the cartridge pin with the mark "X" must be toward the outside of the roller frame. The "X" must be on top or bottom of the vertical centerline of the bore.
7. Slide the cartridge pin in both sides of the roller frame.
Make sure the steps on plate (23) is toward the tooling.
8. Put plate (23) and tooling (J) in position as shown. Install the cartridge in the major bogie until plate (23) is even with the groove in the track roller frame. 9. Install plugs (27).10. Install retaining ring (21) with tool (H).11. Do Steps 5 through 10 and install all the major bogies. The machined surface on minor bogie (20) must be toward the inside when the minor bogie is installed in the major bogie. 12. Put minor bogie (20) in position in the major bogie.13. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the bores of the major bogie and the minor bogie before installation of the cartridge pin. If the original cartridge pins are to be used again, they must be filled with 60 3 cc (2.03 .1 oz) of 5P7504 Oil. The rubber stoppers must be installed 3.0 1.0 mm (.118 .039 in) below the surface of the pin.
