Step 1. Power up the Control Module.
Turn the master power switch to the ON position.
Press the "Power" key in order to turn on the control module.
The display will show that the "BPM" is 0 and that the "RPM" is 0.Expected Result:The control module displays the expected information.Results:
OK - The control module displays the expected information. Proceed to test step 2.Test Step 2. Calibrate the Control Module.
Press the "Enter (ENT)" and the "SELECT" keys at the same time. The display will show "SAVE CFG".
Press the up arrow key. The display will show "SIGNL/LEVEL".Note: When possible, use the default values.
Press the up arrow key. The display will show "SIGNL OUT".
Press the up arrow key. The display will show "AVERG SIGNL".
Press the up arrow key. The display will show "CAL SELECT".
Press the "ENT" key. The display will show "CAL INP 1". Note: "INP 1" is the "BMP".
Press the "ENT" key. The pump "k-factor" will show on the display.Note: The "k-factor" is listed on the inside of the panel cover.
Use the four arrow keys in order to change the pump "k-factor". The four arrow keys perform the following functions:
The left arrow key moves the cursor to the left.
The right arrow key moves the cursor to the right.
The up arrow key increases the numerical value of the digit.
The down arrow key decreases the numerical value of the digit.Enter the information for the new "k-factor".
Pressing the "ENT" key will enter the new "k-factor". The display will show "CAL INP 2".Note: "INP 2" is the "RPM".
Press the "ENT" key. The engine "k-factor" will show on the display.Note: The 3512B engine has 151 teeth on the flywheel and the 3412C engine has 136 teeth on the flywheel.
Enter the information for the new engine "k-factor". After the new engine "k-factor" is entered the display will show the "CAL INP 1".
Press the "SELECT" key. The display will show that the "BPM" is 0 and that the "RPM" is 0.
Press the "Enter (ENT)" and the "SELECT" keys at the same time. The display will show "SAVE CFG". Press the "ENT" key in order to save the configuration. All changes are now saved.Results:
