This diagnostic code is for the Position Sensor (Direction Selector).This diagnostic code is recorded when the ECM determines that the position sensor for the direction of the transmission is out of calibration. Test Step 1. PERFORM THE CALIBRATIONS.
Proceed to Testing and Adjusting, "Calibrations". Perform the calibration for the Transmission Lever Position Sensor (Submode 22). Expected Result:Once sensor calibrations have been performed, this diagnostic code will disappear. Results:
OK - The diagnostic code disappeared. Resume normal machine operation.STOP
NOT OK - The diagnostic code did not disappear.Repair: The calibrations were not performed correctly. Perform the calibrations again.STOP
