Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the transverse beam. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transverse Beam - Remove and Install".

Attach lifting slings and a suitable lifting device to tow arm (1). The weight of tow arm (1) is approximately 117 kg (258 lb).
Remove the cotter pin and the pin. Move cylinder (2) out of the way.
Remove the cotter pin and the pin. Move cylinder (3) out of the way.
Remove the bolt and depth gauge (4).
Remove the bolt and roller assemblies (5) from tow arm (1).
Remove tow arm (1) from the machine. Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting device to tow arm (1). Reposition tow arm (1) on the machine, as shown. The weight of tow arm (1) is approximately 117 kg (258 lb).
Reposition cylinder (2) and install the pin and the cotter pin.
Apply Tooling (A) to the bolt. Install roller assemblies (5) and the bolt.
Install depth gauge (4) and the bolt.
Reposition cylinder (3) and install the pin and the cotter pin on tow arm (1). End By:
Install the transverse beam. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transverse Beam - Remove and Install".
