Installation Procedure
Verify that all of the components are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation. Inspect all components for wear and replace the components, if necessary.
Apply 1U-6396 O-Ring Assembly Compound on all of the O-ring seals prior to installation.

Install O-ring seal (25) to adapter (9) .

Position a suitable lifting sling around engine oil cooler (7), as shown. Secure the lifting sling to a hoist. Position engine oil cooler (7) to the engine, as shown.
Position screen assembly (10) to oil cooler core (12), as shown. Install four bolts (11) and the washers that hold screen assembly (10) to oil cooler core (12) .

Install gasket (23) (not shown) to bonnet (6). Install eight bolts (22) that hold engine oil cooler (7) to bonnet (6) .

Install the gasket (not shown) to bonnet (13). Position bonnet (13), tube (21), flange (19), and gasket (18) (not shown) to adapter (17), as shown. Install four bolts (20) and the washers that hold tube (21) to flange (19) .

Install six bolts (14) that hold engine oil cooler (7) to bonnet (13) .

Install two bolts (24) that hold bonnet (6) to the engine.

Install two bolts (16) and the washers that hold bonnet (13) to bracket (15) .

Install four bolts (8) that hold adapter (9) to engine oil cooler (7) .

Install tube assembly (4) to bonnet (5) and bonnet (6) .

Install tube assembly (2) to elbow (1) and the bonnet (not shown). Install bolt (3), the washer, and the clip that holds tube assembly (2) to the engine.
Refill the right side of the radiator. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7173, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct procedure.
Check the level of the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7173, "Hoist, Torque Converter and Brake Tank Oil Level - Check" for the correct procedure.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7173, "Lubricant and Viscosities and Refill Capacities" for the correct refill capacity., End By:
Install the engine oil cooler bypass valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Cooler Bypass Valve - Remove and Install".
Install the water separators and fuel filters. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Separator and Fuel Filter - Install".
Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and AssemblySENR1500, "Wheel Chocks - Remove and Install".
