1 12 116-3715 Taperlock Stud Torque tool speed should not exceed 100 rpm.
Torque to 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
2 12 9X-6620 Locknut Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A Copper Anti-seize compound to threads and bearing surfaces.
Tighten the locknut in numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 2 to 55 5 N.m (41 4 lb ft).
Do not reuse.
3 2 - Before assembly, apply a thin coat of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the outside diameter of the male end of the exhaust manifold. Remove excess high temperature sealer from the assembled joint.
4 4 376-3408 Taperlock Stud Torque tool speed should not exceed 100 rpm.
Torque to 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
- 6 161-3411 Gasket Install the gaskets for the exhaust manifold with the tabs toward the cylinder block.
