Installation Procedure
Note: Replace the O-ring seals that are used in the installation of the engine oil pump. Use new O-ring seals for the replacement.

Install O-ring seal (9) on oil pump drive (10) .

Use a hoist to install oil pump (3). The weight of the oil pump is 63 kg (139 lb).Note: Make sure that the pump shaft is aligned with the pump drive prior to positioning to the pump drive.
Carefully move oil pump (3) until the pump shaft engages to the pump drive.

Install one bolt (8). The other two bolts that secure oil pump (3) to the oil pump drive will be installed during the installation of the transmission oil cooler core.

Remove the hoist and the suitable lifting sling from oil pump (3) .

Install O-ring seals (6) and (7) on elbow assemblies (1) and (4) .

Install elbow assembly (4) and five bolts (5) .

Install two bolts (2) that secure elbow assembly (1) to the bottom of oil pump (3) .End By: Install the engine oil cooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Cooler - Install".
