Personal injury or death can occur from heavy components falling during removal or installation.Properly support the component with a suitable lifting device during removal or installation.
Front Striker Bar

Attach a suitable lifting device to striker bar assembly (1). The weight of striker bar assembly (1) is approximately 510 kg (1124 lb).
Remove bolts (2) and the spacers. Use the suitable lifting device in order to remove striker bar assembly (1).
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the opposite side of the machine. Rear Striker Bar

Position Tooling (A) under striker bar assembly (4). The weight of striker bar assembly (4) is approximately 327 kg (720 lb).
Remove bolts (3) and the spacers.
Use Tooling (A) in order to remove striker bar assembly (4) from the machine.
Repeat Steps 1 through 3 for the opposite side of the machine. Installation Procedure
Install striker bar assembly (1) and striker bar assembly (4) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of bolts (3) and (2).
Tighten bolts (3) and (2) to a torque of 900 100 N m (665 74 lb ft).
