Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the access cover (expansion tank). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Access Cover (Expansion Tank) - Remove and Install".

Remove the bolt, the washer, clamp (2).
Remove the bolt, the washer, clamp (3).
Loosen the two clamps and remove tube (1).

Loosen clamp (5) that secures exhaust tube (4) to the muffler.

Remove the bolts, the washers, plate assembly (6), and exhaust tube (4).

Loosen clamp (10).
Remove the bolt, the washer, and clamp (8).
Loosen clamp (7) and remove tube assembly (9).

Loosen the clamps. Remove tubes (13) from air aftercooler (12).
Remove the four bolts, the four washers, and shunt tank (11).
Use two people to remove air aftercooler (12). The weight of air aftercooler (12) is approximately 26 kg (57 lb). Remove the bolts, the washers, and air aftercooler (12). Installation Procedure
Install air aftercooler (12) in the reverse order of removal. End By:
Install the access cover (expansion tank). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Access Cover (Expansion Tank) - Remove and Install".
