MODULE AR-CLEAN EMISSIONS 4700246 - Caterpillar

1. Remove cotter pin (3) and pin (1) from tie rod (2). 2. Remove the cotter pin and pin (4) or cotter pin and pin (5) from the steering block. Remove the tie rod from the right side. 3. Remove the cotter pin and pin (6) from tie rod (7) on the left side. 4. Remove cotter pin, nut (8) and cap (9). Remove the tie rod on the left side.Install Tie Rods
1. Put tie rod (1) on the left side into position on arm (2). Install the pin and cotter pin in the tie rod. 2. Install tie rod (1) on the left side into the pitman arm. Install the cap, nut and cotter pin. 3. Put tie rod (5) on the right side into position on arm (4). Install pin (3) and cotter pin (6) in the tie rod. 4. Install right tie rod (5) in the steering block. Install pin (6) and the cotter pin that hold the tie rod in place.
