Information:
Implement Pilot Pressure Sensor
Illustration 3 g02730845
The Implement pilot pressure sensor sends a signal to the Implement ECM indicating implement system pilot pressure.Tilt Pump Pressure Sensor
Illustration 4 g02730845
Sends a signal to the Implement ECM indicating the tilt circuit pressure and the lift circuit pressure when the tilt function is not active.Fan Pressure Sensor
Illustration 5 g02730845
Steering Oil Temperature Sensor
Illustration 6 g02731333
The steering oil temperature sensor allows the Implement ECM to monitor the temperature of the transmission oil. The sensor provides a passive analog (resistance) input signal to the ECM.The ECM associates the resistance value of the sensor signal with a specific temperature of the transmission oil. Steering Pilot Oil Pressure Sensor
Illustration 7 g02730845
The steering system pressure is monitored by the steering pressure switch. If steering system pressure decreases to approximately 700 100 kPa (101 15 psi), the switch sends a signal to the implement ECM, which illuminates an indicator in the cab to alert the operator.Switches
Switches provide one of the following types of inputs to the ECM:
Open
Ground
+BatterySwitches are devices that have two states, opened or closed.
When a switch is open, no signal is provided to the corresponding input of the ECM. This condition is also referred to as floating.
When a switch is closed, a ground signal or a +battery signal is provided to the ECM. HVAC Auto/Manual Switch
The air conditioning/auto switch has three positions:
Pressing the top of the switch engages the air conditioning compressor.
In the center OFF position, the temperature dial still controls the water valve at the heater core.
Pressing the bottom of the switch engages the automatic climate control. In AUTO, the Implement ECM monitors the cab air recirculation temperature sensor and the HVAC housing air duct outlet sensor. Based on the temperature difference, the ECM energizes or de-energizes the compressor clutch coil and adjusts the water valve spool position to maintain a constant louver outlet temperature, based on the dial setting.Filter Bypass Switches

The pressure switch has a plunger inside the switch that closes the contacts with an acceptable pressure drop across the filter. The pressure switch grounds the signal circuit during normal operation. The plunger of the pressure switch moves in order to allow the pressure switch contacts to open. The pressure switch contacts open when pressure across the filter is greater than the specified value. If the filter is restricted, the open pressure switch sends a signal to the ECM. The ECM informs the operator that the filter is restricted or dirty. The normal state of a pressure switch that is not installed is normally open. The circuit for the switch is normally open. The bypass valve will open in order to protect the system if the filter is restricted. The bypass switch provides an input signal to the ECM. The Implement ECM will monitor the oil temperature and ignore the switch state if the temperature is below a specific value. The system accounts for the higher viscosity of the oil due to cooler temperatures. Primary Steering Pressure Switch
